I am feeling cheated as IFB is unable to confirm the part price. My microwave oven stopped working during 1st week of Oct. Oct 6th One of IFB executive visited my place and changed a fuse which is available in local market for Rs.20, even the USD price of the fuse is not crossing Rs 25-30. I got charged Rs 525 for that fuse.

My microwave oven did not even last for one round of cooking and got busted in 10 mins. After writing many mails to local service center Deepa enterprises and customerservice@ifbglobal.com, i could not get any response.

I have pdf of the mail sent by me to IFB, l could not find a way to upload it.

Regards,
Vaibhav Jain

Same issue as mentioned above .
They told we need to change the fuse and then after changing the new fuse they turned it on the machine it got the sparked again and the new fuse got repaired again and they charged charge 580 rupees.
And now they suspect a part known as magnetron in the oven is repair , so next we have to change that part which cost around 5000.
To avoid from this charges they told to extend the warranty period I ask them how much will it be, but the technicians are not sure about the cast of warranty for each mission.

I have been following up with the call center since i had lodged a complaint on 13th December 2016. I and i have not seen such incompetent people bearing the face of such a big company called IFB. My complaint number is 1104273524. Every time i have called them they have said they will follow up or have given some other numbers namely ********96 (Ritesh which is switched off) ********87 (anil which is unreachable) and ********66 (harshad which is switched off). Its 14days and no service. I have been following up every second day to listen to the same excuse from the phone agents. Its disgraceful on IFB's part to provide such shabby service. I am shocked and would not want to buy any IFB product ever again and would tell all my known people to shun IFB.

IFB also looted me by charging the visiting charges of rs. 220 and the other day when they came for fixing the issue they provided the bill of rs 480 which include 130 rs for service charge, and after that the problem was not fixed they said that fuse needs to be replaced for extra rupees 230. So, I will recommend everyone not to buy IFB appliances.
They have the worst after service.

I got the fuse replaced on 10th Nov 2015. They charged me Rs. 567 for fuse and Rs. 228 for service charge. And on 13th Nov 2015, just after three days, it stopped working. I complained on same day, but no one visited till now. Neither their customer care no. 1********678 is working now. Very pathetic service and appliance quality. Just after one year of purchase, it stopped working, that too when we have a very minimal use of it.

Exactly same incident happened to me as well. It seems they want to recover full amount of oven with this secondary source income so called after sale support.
