I got my Grand i10 magna(petrol) on 1st november,it was running fine, and after 4 days of staying idle, all battery got drained. Now the dealer says its coz of lesser use(generally i use car on weekends),we even had other cars and even if we don't use them for a month or longer nothing happens and workshop manager says its cluster problem coz of Programming defect. I want a Clarification on this. My car is Stationary since 2 days, No bloody Dealer or Service station is listening to me on this. All they have is,please wait we will get back to you,but i want to know when?????
Is this something called Customer service...????
I got my car by paying everything in cash & that too on a single day...
This is not tolerable..
Even now, if you people are not going to help me, I am going to get my money back by filing a case in Consumer court.
If this is the condition in Warranty, then what you people do when it will be out of warranty..????
m so worried about it..Why i Choose HYUNDAI.......!!!!!

I purchased grandi10 magna petrol and facing exactly the same issue. Battery got drained within one week of purchase. When contacted dealer, i was told that might be due to doors not locked properly which i always contested. Got the same problem repeated and dealer service center is again making excuses and asking to pay for inspection. Never expected this kind of behaviour with new vehicle owner.
I also purchased Hyundai Grandi10 Magna Petrol on 10th October 2013 by paying full cash. On 20th Nov 2013, to my surprise all of a sudden, lying idle for two days the battery is fully drained…..!!!!!!!!!!!. Smart key, ignition nothing is working. First month itself after purchasing the Grand i10, I am facing lot of problems calling up Hyundai Helpline, roadside assistance, Service Center, speaking to Customer care Manager, Service Advisor, GM etc to check up the issue. Some says it is a battery related issue, other says it’s a cluster programme realated issue where they would be scanning the car in the service center and would be finding out the reason…. Come on !!!!!!!!! it is a new car ….. It is really scary and pathetic to get this kind of response...
I must say I am getting an overall negative feedback on the performance of this car and my bad decision of purchasing this Grand i10. It is ridiculous, that lying two days idle, the car battery is fully drained, what kind of engineering technology is used by Hyundai while manufacturing this car???????????? I am having other car also, but lying idle for 15 to 20 days also I had not experienced this kind of Battery drained issue. I am not at all satisfied with the performance of the car as within one month itself repeatedly I am calling up Roadside assistance and Helpline Nos…… Service Center etc…etc... All this Iam finding really disgusting in my busy life schedule. Since the car is in warranty period and the first servicing is also not done, I want the concerned Hyundai authorities to handle this issue promptly else I am forced to go the Consumer Court for filing the case for getting back my full cash as I knew from internet and other social media that there are other customers also undergoing the same battery drained issue in Hyundai Grand i10.

A new car battery should not get discharged even if the car is not driven for 2 months if it is properly charged, unless there is some defect in it or if the battery is not fully charged. you should Hyundai company directly and inform them about poor service from the dealer too.
I am facing also same problem after I took vehicle from KLG Hyundai in Chandigarh. The battery has got drained after three days of idle.
It has to be resolved but dealer says that the software has to come from Company.
Tell me how to get our money back.Filing a case in Consumer court and asking for Compensation of 20 lakhs
