Redington Service - Pathetic Blackberry After Sales Service from Redington

Dear Sir or Madam,

Since last 10+ years I had been the fan of Blackberry but at the shocking, first time I required to attend for after sales service.

On 25th Oct 2011, I became again a proud owner of my new BB 9300 curve by replacing my BB 8320 Curve. That also keeping full trust in Blackberry as a brand when Blackberry was facing the service outage issues.

But all my passion towards blackberry for years had taken the backstage when on 7th of may right half of my phone screen suddenly started improper display. This all happen when I was talking to someone over the phone and while hanging up suddenly this issue appeared.

Though phone was perfectly working. There are no scratches or no other issues. I took the backup of my Blackberry on 8th May and since then till today I was struggling to contact and show my phone to redington bangalore. At the first, none was reachable on their below mentioned numbers available on blackberry support site :

I could never be able to talk (even after 'n' # of times calling on that numbers).

Ultimately when I could contact redington toll-free (after holding the phone minimum for 10 mins) and i could get the escalation number of Mr. Mahesh. I must appreciate that Mr. Mahesh always picked up the phone and responded well to my queries.

But again my unfortunate, when approached physically at their service station, there were none to handle the query and it required 3-4 times to visit and ultimately could approach Mr. Sunil there.

But it was again shocking that within a minute of time, there was a straight away declaration that phone LCD has a damage and same can be replaced only by paying "6000 INR" only. Again a big shock........ An open day loot ............

I must say, It was a damn pathetic service by Redington Bangalore ... there is no one to pick up the call, listen you, explain you.......... There is an open day loot and cheat.......................................

There is no escalation process. .......... due to redington, blackberry shall surely loose from branding side. I must say, so far I was been the person always encouraging my fellow team member to opt for blackberry but this incidence had teach me a lession and I shall have no option left behind ............

I have decided now to go to consumer forum and other media side to get my problem resolved.

I shall not keep quite..............
