Hi All, This was happened me on july 2011.Now only i came to know this website,so i am sharing my experience, as well be catious with this personal loan. I have salary account in HDFC from 2008 so i got a call from HDFC stating that you have pre-approved personal loan and already iam planning to take the loan for my expenses. Dear Sir,

I have visited HDFC Bank to close my Personal Loan , but the bank executive are telling me that we are not able to do balance transfer to close my Personal Loan.

I have not received any circular from HDFC bank before that ,we are closing the procedure for balance transfer.

Please allow me to close this personal loan through balance transfer. because i have some serous issues at my home.

I have already paid 16 EMI for my personal Loan.


I am carrying the DD from last 10 days for balance transfer , but due to lack of time i am not able to deposit it into the bank.

i am requesting you to grant me permission to close my personal loan through balance transfer and even i am carrying HDFC bank salary account.

Your quick response is highly appreciated.

Hi,
I have salary account in HDFC from 2014 so i got a call from HDFC stating that you have pre-approved personal loan and already iam planning to take the loan for my expenses. At the moment i got a call from HDFC i agree with that.From the bank side they said you have to give the address proof,passport size photo and 3 cheques because of pre-approved. The executive came and collect the necessary documents and they said with in 3 days your loan amount got deposit in your account hence it is pre-approved one.

The executive collect the documents on the morning,by that day afternoon i got a message in mobile stating that

"congratulations! your completed personal loan app is now accepted .pls.quote Ref.no 36118159 for any status update - HDFC Bank Ltd. T&C Apply".

on the same day i got a message in the evening stated that..

"Dear Customer yr appln of personal loan A/C no.36118159 for a is Approved.Our rep will call you shortly.Rgds HDFC Bank Ltd. T&C Apply".

After i got this message, i felt my loan amount got approved.So i felt bit relax and i commit some requirments based on this money.

14 to 15 days gone...no replies from the HDFC. So please confirm me what happened.

Fresh Loan I am apply for Rs. 155000 With ROI 17.25 % for Year 3 Year But due to my creditability Limit so my Loan has been Rejected After successfully verification For Personal Loan we provide Address proof of Mandawali New delhi where I was lived on rented Your Client successfully verified for the same address But now my address has been changed from Mandawali New delhi TO Vinod Nagar East new delhi on date 25.08.2012 due to some reason but Your loan department representative call to me he asked again verified my address But I have been leave my previous address & Now I m Live in vinod nagar East new delhi I have no interaction with my previous Landlord


It is requested to you please Closed Personal Loan Account 22169012 wich is rejected on 18/08/2012

I missed to update this on time.Long back i got the reply from hdfc.Based on the complaint,i got a mail from HDFC, stating that the RIC(Bad remarks) have been refreshed from my records.Thanks to HDFC and many thanks to icomplaints.

I support this complaint. I Pratap Kumar Jena applied for a personal loan in HDFC Bank which approved for Rs.75000/ from last 1 month,with Personal Loan A/c No-18319086 and bank Executive Mr.Sishpal ( Sector-19 Branch ) also collect Cheque and agreement paper with my signature.But still they are not taking any action of this matter & there requirement change day by day as their wish.So please confirm it immediatly and approve my personal loan.

I was also being harrased by one of the executive in HDFC bank. One day i got a call from HDFC Bank that i have in my account a preapproved loan of Rs. 248000. But my loan requirement is of 300000, So they told me to go for normal process rathr to go with preapproved one. They also told me that it will take more time compare to preapproved. i accept the proposal. But as my father is in police they rejected my normal application. I've an account with them since 2008. I am working with A catagory company stated in HDFC bank, Though they deny my application, Reason is only that my father is in police. Its not fare to behave like this with your old & genuine costumer. I've very much loan requirement that time as i want to purchase agriculture land. But they didn't provide. Its a very bad experience of mine with HDFC bank. They were even not told me for many days that my application got rejected.
