I would like to state my deep dissatisfaction level, I had during my in Hitachi AC & Installation process.

Following are the details of AC purchase
Customer code:I1004001089 & Machine sr.Nr: 100B10658

I have bought AC for my home on 02 Apr 2010 at 2.30 PM, and I was told that installation call have been booked and awaiting for appointment call.

Next day until 11.30 PM no calls received for appointment and I was frustrated and called the retailer shop (Sathyaa Agencies Medavakkam) and they had given me another call center number to call myself.

I called them about 3 times until I could get response from them. At 4.30 PM engineer arrived for installation and went about 8.30 PM.

Inspired by the market brand and internet suggestions, but the reality was different was to me

Defects in Installation process

After 6.30 in the dark outdoor units were connected and no safety measures adopted and I was surprised to see the safety standards in working
Poor tool kits available with the service personal had lead to delay of 2 hours installation
Too many follow up required for installation to happen
Measurement of leakages in night and I hope god only knows the fact in the outdoor unit
Poor alignment in the indoor unit at the bottom

Defects in AC
Remote unit was not working
Stabiliser brand was not good, non availability of screws and accessories
Vibration pad was missing in the kit, as heard from service personal
Stickering in the Indoor panel was upside down
Demo could not be successfully completed since remote was not working
Rattling noise from the flaps
Invoice from the retailer not received


I hope the biggest mistake I have done by taking the branding name into consideration and buying the AC and I will never repeat the mistake of taking other Hitachi products for my home



I am surprised that one of the world reputed AC manufacturer has so many defects in installation and AC kits which had lead to dissatisfaction of home members.
