I am utterly disappointed with the online admission process for Junior college admissions. My son had scored about 76% percent in SSC and had given first option as Science in the many colleges nearby. Alaas! in the first list his name did not figure but in the second list which is announced today he had been given the option of commerce which was given as a second option. Now we really dont know what to do as he has been given only one choice.

I am strongly suspecting there is something cooking in the whole process as people who have money will see that they get admission in the desired college irrespective of the fact that their children had scored well or not. Now my son\'s ambition and aspirations have gone haywire. In fact his percentage was down because of his scoring less marks in local language. For this reason why should he be deprived of his chance to pursue science stream which is the subject he is immensely interested in. Since his scoring is not bad and has secured distinction I feel he should be admitted for science in a reasonably good college.
