Hello sir, my new dell vostro 2520 speakers are not working but the sound is coming in head set please tell me the solution for this problem.

I am also experiencing with same problem. My laptop's left speaker is not working. Dell technical support told me that problem occured due to the usage of vlc player and that is not cover under warranty. Actually i didnt get any information regarding this while purchasing either verbaly or written. I gone through warranty conditions but there also no information regarding this. Its not fair a company like dell doing like this. Anyway right now i forced to go for consumer court. Just 1 month before i purchased the lap. With in 1 month this complaint occured.

I am also experiencing the same problem...my speakers are also not working...but sound is coming from the head set...i dont think its a problem with the drivers..because i have both ubuntu and windows in my laptop...and the problem is same in both....please help me as soon as u can...
