IMINT Points - They don't provide the facility which they advertise for.

We have a complaint against Third Eye in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The
issue is, they advertise that they redeem the reward points which we
get by using ICICI credit\\debit card i.e the i-mint points. Since last
10 days we are talking to Third Eye in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
regarding buying of a digital camera model no: Sony DSC H-20, they
always said that the said camera is available with them. But as soon
as we said about redeeming of the i-mint points against buying of that
camera, they refused, they said the setup is not there for redeeming
i-mint points (although they and i-mint both advertise everywhere that
one can redeem the i-mint points in Third Eye in Banjara Hills,
Hyderabad). Then we complained in i-mint with Mr. Shrinivasa -
040-40146468 regarding this. So Third Eye in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad
was forced and they said ok we will redeem the points, but we don\'t
have the camera model you want to buy.
Till the time we didn\'t talk about i-mint they said they have the
model available but as soon as redeeming i-mint came they said they
don\'t have the model.
I asked them to arrange in 2-3 days then they are saying the company
has discontinued this camera so we cannot arrange, but we checked with
Sony and they said they have not yet discontinued it.
This is just advertising and doing fraud with the customers. Because
they were forced to setup i-mint software they said they don\'t have
the model we want, although they had agreed that they have it. i-mint
is saying that it\'s the discretion of the store whether the product is
there or not, we can\'t do anything.
So now the consumer has been fooled and we don\'t have any option other
than you who can help us.
Third Eye in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad will continue to fool consumers
like this by first advertising then saying the system is not working
and then saying the product which you want is not there, so that
finally customer is not able to get what the shop was actually
advertising for. There was no delay from our side, they took days in
setting up the system and then said because of the delay stock is
finished. And this delay was from their end not ours.

Complainant's Goal: They sell us the camera on agreed terms and also provide monetary compensation.

3RD Eye Digital , The shop has charged me Rs. 8000 as MRP when the same Item was available for Rs. 1500. Though I approached them many times. I spoke/smsed/emailed to Sanjay Bajaj (the owner of the shop) about this many but it was a very bad experience .. in the end he said he won't be able to do to anything about it. I believe there is a law in India that it is a punishable offence to exceed the MRP price and that too by over 5 times the MRP of the item sold elsewhere in India. This may be a serious concern for people buying at IIIrd Eye Retail shop. Hope somebody takes notice of this and helps me.

This is 2013 and seems they have not changed.
