I opted my car insurance with royalsundaram . when I asked the quotation they shared the premium and idv value details and in that quotation I find out car CC was not correct and the same communicated to customer care and they told post payment we can change that in policy(I have shared my RC copy). Then I paid and waited for 15 days to get the policy copy. When I got my policy I have verified the engine cc again it was wrong. I called customer care and sent lot of emails then they ask me to share my RC copy 2nd time again I shared.
The same RC copy accepted for all insurance companies .
My car Is Fiat linea and 2009 model
Policy Number : VPN0032********1
In 2009 FIAT cars are marketed by TATA from 2006 to 2013. So in RC copy company name was TATA
Now they are telling in RC it was mentioned TATA. so we can’t change the cc. if this is the case then why your people asked me to pay the premium. So as of now without changing the cc I can’t claim.
How Royal sundaram attract customer is providing high IDV value. How customer get high idv value they will put wrong engine cc. Finally no one eligible for claim.
While taking the policy daily i have got 2 phone calls and 2 sms and 1 or 2 emails. Post payment I have raised this issue no one respond properly and sent lot of emails and called customer care people now they are telling for email reply you have to wait 2 to 5 days.
So best avoid this royal sundaram insurance and save money.
