VAAS Construction - Not getting response from construction company

Sir /Madam
I paid Rs.50000/- as an advance for purchase a flat in Gachhibawli (Hyderabad) to a construction company â€œVAAS Constructionâ€ during April & June 2010 through Bank cheque. For which they have not given any receipt for it. Now I am not getting any response from representative of VAAS Construction. Please guide me for further steps so that I can at least recover my principle amount.
