I have recently located to West Kadungallor, Near Aluva, Ernalukam and
shocked to find that there is not a single garbage disposal bin
facility provided by the Panchayat anywhere in the vicinity of our
house...one has to drive around atleast 5 to 6 kilometers towards city
and recklessly throw the garbage packets after driving around for over
15 minutes. Even at these places, because of periyar river many
boards have come up stating that it is punishable to throw garbage.

I have inquired with every single individual I have come across to see
if there are door to door garbage pick up facility provided by
Kudumbasree. People simple nod their heads, and say they are NOT
used to such things, and simply throw it around in their own backyard
or roads or public places.

I have no idea to who to approach to get a quick resolution. What
else can I do, should I write to local news papers and seek public
attention. This city does not provide any assistance to even
malayali's relocating back to homeland after staying out for over 25
years.
