LOTTERY SCAMS ARE VERY DANGEROUS - PART 2

Mode of Information

In almost all cases you will receive a Winning Notification through an Email but in some cases they use postal letters as well, which will be look a like of some other genuine lottery papers. But how to recognize a fake lottery email or postal letter, few tips are given below:

  • You never buy a ticket from claiming business or authority
  • You live in a country other than lottery authority country
  • You never register your self or visited or sent email to claiming business
  • The amount of lottery is huge, which will not believe
  • Senders name and email subject in upper case letters with senders name resembling a Nigerian but claiming to be from any other country (most probably UK)

What They Want From You

  • In most of the cases they ask you to reply email with some of your personal details, like name, address, telephone number etc.
  • In reply to that email either one of their fake representative with call you from rerouted telephone numbers or they will explain you a process to withdraw money
  • The process of withdrawal will demand some amount to clear funds or legal charges or processing fee to be depositedd in your local country anonymous bank account
  • If you have deposited money once then surly they will ask you again to deposite in account of some other fee or charges. This loop of depositing money will go on until they feel you are frustrated
  • Thats It - Their purpose is solved and you have lost money, now neither bank account nor telephone numbers will reveal any thing because they were all forged and closed immediately after you stopped sending payment.
