Sony India Pvt. Ltd. - Manufacturing defect in Sony lens

I bought a Sony Alpha mount lens 50mm with serial number 2004509 model number SAL50F18//C AE. I made this purchase in Kerala (India) in the month of September 2015 .

Unfortunately, the product has not performed well because after few week of purchase the lens had problem in Auto focus mode in focusing after repeated trial it would focus. Until recently the problem worsen and the lens would refuse to focus in Auto focus mode even after repeated trial. Manual focus do work fine. I have tested this lens in My friends camera there too this problem exist. I have 4 more Sony lens for my camera all of them work fine in Auto focus mode.

To resolve the problem I took the product to Authorized Sony service center (Sonnet Care Bangalore) where in the technician investigated the lens also tried different lens in my camera and concluded the said lens was faulty. After reviewing my warranty documents they offered me to create a job sheet but when asked about delivery date the technician was in blank and said we cannot give you any date as we need to investigate what wrong with it.

I am quite astonished to know Sony don't have a time limit specified for each product to be serviced.

I would appreciate if you look into the matter and resolve the problem by replacing the lens and not repairing because lens had manufacturing defect from its initial purchase date.

Finding no way to resolve it I have decided to email you and look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem.

AM PURCHASED NEW SONY 32 INCHES TV ON 30/4/2018, RS 25500/-, AFTER 10 DAYS MAIN SCREEN IS OFF, NEXT AM CALL TO CUSTOMER CARE, HE IS COME AFTER 5 DAYS, AND HIS TAKE TV TO MYSORE SERVICE CENTER, IS TAKEN TV MORE THAN 10 DAYS SERVICE IS NOT DOING, WORLD DABBA ,DABBA DABBA DABBA SERVICE, , NOT TO SUPPORT CUSTOMER CARES, .... DON'T TAKEN .
