I have very bad experience for three times on Mumbai central rail way station. I am working as a export marketing engineer in Ahmedabad. I have to travel abroad for my company job frequently. Every time when I back to Mumbai I have to take a train from Mumbai to Ahmedabad as I am leaving here in Ahmedabad.
When I enter the railway station every time one police man catch me and take to the office in side saying that we want to check your bag. Every time I give full co –operation to them as I also understand they are doing their duty. So they check my all bag for 30 minutes and when they do not find any thing they start asking for pass port and questions.
Now after that they ask for the purse from your pocket they check the currency in the pockets. Now off course I am coming from abroad I have some currency with me which are legally take from the bank. Then they ask for letter that your company has given this money now they starts showing rule and hesitating. Finally they pass all the time up to my train time. Then they say we have to go to court and they start speaking bad things.
Then they ask for the money that give us 5000 Ruppe or other currency.
They are doing it with lot of people and this is really shame that On the Mumbai central such thing happens. i felt very guilty.
If you want you can do sting operation and catch that Police mans which are really not doing their duty.
it's a very shame on police & railway dep. especially to mumbai central rail. st. where too much foreigners take visit everyday & traveling from there.
We feel that bad as we are behind the world because of corruption in our country meagerly from police department.
I hope you do take some action against them
Any way I have decided not to travel from Mumbai by train, It is better to travel by air or from delhi or Ahmedabad.

As on 11.01.2011 at 9.00pm, i came to Secunderabad Railway Station to Catch the train Nagawali express from Secunderabad to visakhapatnam. I am waiting for the train at platform no. 8 & 9.
Suddenly i heard an announcement that nagawali exp. is coming on platform no.4. All the people suddenly moved with a crowd to catch the train. Iam carrying 3 laguages i.e., suitcase-1, bags-2. When i am climbing steps in the crowd some robers cut my bags rope and ranaway. Due to heavy laguage i haven't catch them.
I noticed that no
RPF Police is presented there, some guys are sitting with walky talky. I asked them i missed my bag it is contains valuable shoes, chargers, toilet kit and others. My bag color is blue and it has written SAP on the bag.
I kindly request to the concerned officer to take necessary action on this roberries. I also request you to get back my bag from the robbers.
