Hello, I Pramod Pal bought a samsung s4 gt-i9500 from croma retail store Vashi Navi mumbai on 18th of aug 2013 after few days of use i found out there are some problems with the device like lag, battery drain on moderate use (if i use gestures, mobile data, play games, use messengers like whatsapp, play videos and so on) phone gets heat up on charging or while taking calls and after one week apps started crashing (like camera if i toggled between modes after clicking two or three photos camera get closed, tango making calls through it and sharing photos is also crashed) ok later on mobile started to hang while using default browser and crome broswer, phone gets hang when mobile network trips between 2g, 3g or 3.5g, later i discovered the screen is purple in color at the bottom of the phone and when you are reading something and scrolling the text looses its color and screen blink or flicker and the back cover is also have a defect at the bottom corner. so after seeing and feeling all this problem i googled and found out that samsung will release firmware updates to resolve all these problems, in few days i start getting the updates, installed all updates but problem didnt get solved even i update each and every app on the phone. so i visited the service centre Krishna telesystem panvel on 21st of sep 2013 and after telling and showing them all the problems they said they will change the screen lcd of the phone and after that they will check the other problems and whatever the solution would be they will provide but for that i have leave my phone for a week in service center i refused a week is too much , i came back and same night i called up customer care of samsung and told them all these problem first i have bought a rs.40799 phone and got a defective piece and all and the executive started giving all the gyan about warranty and gaurranty but not accepting that phone is defective. ok after two days i took the phone again to the same service center this time i submitted the phone on 25th of sep 2013 wednesday they said to call on monday 30th sep 2013 to check phone repair status but i calle dup on saturday 28th sep 2013 only they said phone is ready come and take the delivery so i went back to service center and found out they did nothing only updated the phone and told me check the phone and i saw few software related problems were solved but all which i have mentioned above is same after showing them again they said we will change the LCD and PBA but right now parts are not available so the keep the phone use it and after 2nd of oct give us call to know the status of the parts arrived or not. so i did the same as well as i started talking to customer care people also but nobody is ready to take the responsibilty that its a defective piece sold to me buy croma retail. i contacted croma and met with the manager he calmly listened to my problems and suggested me if samsung give me a certificate that phone is a defective on purchase they will replace the phone with new. when i told all this to samsung service centre executive they took my complaint and said after our senior consult with the serve center then only they will decide about the dead on arrival certificate, but same result happen i got the call from samsung senior employee saying what iam asking is not possible wait for the part to be delivered and get the parts changed which is not acceptable by heart and mind because i paid in full for their product but i have been cheated, mis guided on internet and i received a defective product of their iam looking for a full box pack replacement from them or my money back no repair well first of all repair is not happening they are replacing the parts but why to replace parts when croma is ready to give me replacement and yes its a factory defective phone . this is all thank u and please look into the matter 40799 is not a small amount, i have not paid for all this pain, this is my first android, first samsung phone. why some body go for a highend device when he has to suffer why not buy a 10, 20k phones. NOW AGAIN my phone s4 gt-i9500 has started showing problems network trip , heating back of the phone, camera pics are blurred , getting hang and get hang, lag while playing simple games like subway surfer, temple run and so. battery swelled getting discharged in 5-10 mins of use. so i visited back to service center and got battery changed in a week time and they formatted the phone...so now the problems are going to grow as the time pass by and this is my third visit to service center and i think its a endless journey or say problem companion for life time thank u
