To whomsoever it may concern,
I had booked a Brown Duster 110psi RxL Plus model with Padam Motors Renault Tricity Chandigarh on 16th Feb 2014 with a booking amount of Rs 50,000/-. I was initially told by the Sales Manager Mr Lucky that I would be delivered the car within 8 – 10 days but to be a on a safer side it will take maximum 20- 25 days which was 10th March 2014 . I was also continuously in talks with Mr Sandeep, a sales person which Mr Lucky had allotted who assured me that my car had been booked with the company on 16th only and would be dispatched. Around 5th March I was told that the car had not been dispatched from the Chennai plant and I would receive it by 20th March and that too without having the courtesy to call themselves regarding the same. I then had a word with Mr Rahul Gaur, the Regional Manager for Renault North India, who also told me that I would get the car by 20th March. The car had already been delayed by 20 days and every time I called them I was told that the Chennai manufacturing plant is delaying in sending them the car and it is not their fault. In between also came an offer which entitled me for free insurance for delivery in March and I was assured by Mr Sandeep that I would be eligible for the free insurance as my car would most definitely be delivered in March 2014. On calling them again regarding the late delivery I was told the same story and was assured delivery in March as it was imperative that I get the car before the next financial year. Then on 21st March I get a call that the car cannot be delivered as it has not reached them and insisted me to buy silver colour which had been with them for the past many days. On inquiring with Mr Rahul, I was told that they had not received the money from Renault Tricity since 15th March 2014 when the production of the batch started and hence my car was not dispatched. So Reanult Tricity not only cheated me but made a fool of me by trying to lie about their carelessness. Padam Motors already had a history for tax fraud and fake RLA stamping. This is absolutely ridiculous and I did not expect such a disappointing service from Renault India. I have to suffer because of such a casual attitude by Padam Motors Reanult Tricity which has made me lose faith in a company like Renault leaving aside all the embarrassment it has brought me. Now I have to pay Rs 67000/- extra for another booking as the car was not delivered within the discounted and promised timframe. I demand some action be taken against this.
