Videocon - I am not satisfied with the service of Videocon (Dealer M/S SAM APPLIANCES)

I had lodged a complaint regarding my Videocon refrigerator (S190) on 25th July’10. The body of the refrigerator got damaged during transit (Freezer door, vegetable tray, glass on vegetable tray and the refrigerator stand).

The complaint number given to me was KOL2507100217.

The service engineer visited my place after 3-4 days and informed me that it will take 1 week to procure the various parts that were damaged. He told me that he will come again once the parts are received but nobody visited me after that.

I started following up with your customer care. They gave me the numbers of

Area Manager- Mr.Anal Mukherjee (********58)
Area Service Incharge- Mr.Amal Goswami (********13).

I spoke to both of these individuals atleast 2 times. Each time I was assured that the complaint would be resolved within 1 week. However, the complaint stands unresolved till date (22nd August’10).

I called up the customer care again and spoke to your customer care representative on 22nd August’10 (today). His name was Rupak Sharma.

He told me that my complaint has been cancelled and I will have to lodge a fresh complaint. I told him that I did not cancel the complaint and I would not like to lodge a fresh complaint as the same would be considered from today. I wanted a renewal of the complaint (KOL2507100217) lodged on 25th July’10 as I had not cancelled the same.

I also enquired that the complaint was cancelled by whom. I was informed that it was done by M/S SAM APPLIANCES who was handling the complaint.

Sir, I am being harassed by your representatives and nobody seems to be bothered about the complaint, the worst being M/S SAM APPLIANCES as they cancelled my complaint without informing me.

Your employees Area Manager (Anal Mukherjee) and Area Service Incharge (Amal Goswami) have also not been very responsive. They told me each time I called them that the complaint would be resolved within a week but the complaint stands unresolved even after 1 month lodging it.

I request you to get the complaint resolved. Already around 1 month has passed, since the time I lodged the complaint.
