I am Achyut Acharya owning a HONDA CBR250R bike purchase in OCT 2012 under REG MH 01 BH 5013 from Jhaveri Honda. I have paid INR 174000 for this product which is claimed to be a best in class by you but I am very disappointed with the overhaul performance of your bike and honestly feel that your product is not at all a value for money rather it is an overpriced ordinary machine. I am mentioning all the problems which I am facing in your product just after driving it for 1700 kms.
Fuel indicator never gives correct figures /bars indications. If my bike has more than 8 liters of petrol it constantly blinks indicating low fuel level.
The most important part of any vehicle to move is its TYRES. The tubeless tires of continental are not providing any grip neither on the straight road nor on curves and corners. This bike skids away if I put the a little quick break in traffic and on turnings.
This bike has been made with a racing technology (somewhat claimed by HONDA). We purchased this bike purely for power so we don’t get into the fuel economy but in these criteria also this bike proved to be a failure for me. I drag this bike in a 2km open road patch along with pulsar 220F and pulsar 150 and I was shocked to see that at my speed of 108km/h the pulsar 220F was well ahead of me and the 150 was almost next to me. Then what exactly your engine was delivering????
The double disk brakes are again of very poor quality. The bike doesn’t stop on immediate command rather it take a hefty distance to stop after applying breaks especially when riding with pillion.
The mono shocks and the driver seat do not provide any grip while driving. The little bumps in the roads actually push me aside while driving and the seat constantly drag me towards the fuel tank.
I am a true biker from my heart and a real SBK lover. I daily ride the bike around 40km and mostly on western express highway in mumbai. This bike has made me really sad with its so poor show and the image and trust for HONDA has vanished from my mind.
I request you if you can provide me someone who can really help me resoled this issues and make me feel my money worth paid for HONDA product.
