sir,
there are nearly 9000 passengers travelling on an average between the beach and chengalpattu lines. however the growing patroange of commuters towards the railways has not been retaliated. there are only 35 pairs of trains running between beach and chengalpattu compared to the 72 pairs operated between beach and tambaram.
the land alloted for a 3rd track from tambaram to chengalpaattu is simply staying after the excavation but no work has started on that area.
issues::
introduce fast trains to chengalpattu in the morning from beach.
track laying of a 3rd line between beach and chengalpet.
make 12 cars compulsory during rush hours in the morning and evening.
make guindy,chrompet,tambaram,perungalathur,potheri,maramalai nagar, paranur and chengalpet important stops as there are a lot of office goers on these areas.
start trains from tambaram to chengalpet.
Thank you and looking forward to your addressal of these issues
Joshua ( one among the many of regular commuters between beach and chengalpattu)
