I booked a plot measuring area 180 sq. yards , at NH-58 ghaziabad, with M/S. SAWHNEY BUILDERS PVT. LTD. , in the yea 2006 . I paid Rs. 5,40,773/- as the booking amount (The approx. cost was 12L.).At the time of booking I was assured the allotment would be made in 8 months\' time.I enquired after about one year and was told that due to some problems allotment was being delayed for about six months.I called up after 6 months then again they gave me excuses and said they could not give any fixed time period for the allotment.In Nov. 08 I went to them and told them to cancel my registration and refund my money.They gave me two post-dated cheques(12-05-09) for Rs.5.40,773/- and Rs.78,819/-( Rs.400/- per sq.yard extra + Interset for 3 months @ 8% p.a.,Saying that they would pay only for 3 months as per conditions defined by them according to their convenience, changed from time to time.) However On the morming of 12-05-09 I deposited both the cheques , but to my dismay I received aletter from the company in the evening to delay the deposit by a month.The cheques returned due to unsufficient funds.I called them and they have assured me that they wud give me draft in liue of that on 12-06-09.Should I wait for that or please advise me what legal action shoult I follow and should take a prompt action or wait till 12-06-09?

Sawhney Builder cheated me also. I want to know What action is taken for the above complaint.

I got refund in just 1 month from the date of bouncing of my refund cheque.
My name is Ajay jain, I had booked a plot of 180 sq. yds. in AMARA TOWNE after making payment of booking amount of Rs. 3,00,000/- on 24-04-2006. Later on in the year 2009 I received a cheque from sawhney builder for 3,73,489/-, but the same were not encashed. Thereafter I filed a case through my lawyer, who got my money refunded in just a month from the date of filing of the complaint. My no. is ********19.
