Last week I ordered on cash on delivery basis for a Bose Bluetooth Speaker impressed by the advertisement from 89store.in for Rs.3300/=. On Monday(i.e.29.01.2018) a parcel was delivered to me after COD by courier company Delhivery. On opening the parcel I understood that I have been taken for a ride. A duplicate speaker, not in working condition was delivered to me. I immediately called the delivery boy who told me that he his helpless and only the courier company manager can do something since the parcel was opened. I immediately called on the Manager of Chennai branch of Delhivery. He promised help by next day and decided not to answer my call and block my calls. I frantically tried to contact the company in the internet for refund of the product and noticed that their website is blocked for the reason “maintenanceâ€. I have sent a mail to support and sales team of the company and there was not response from them. My spate of phone calls has not evoked any response since his phone is switched off. I have sent a mail to the courier company to trace out the seller of the product. Looks like the courier company is in hand in glove with the selling company indulging in cheating and fraudulent practices.
I request your high offices to intervene and redress the genuine grievance of me by getting the refund from the company and also prevent them from indulging in unfair practice of selling fake products.
