I took the Auto (Name of Driver: M Shankar, Vehicle No. # AP-11X9132) from Clock Tower for Liberty Tank Bund Road for my official meeting. On midway I noticed that Meter reading is showing the same starting charge of Rs 12/- and is not working at all. When I have objected he said Meter has just stopped working and will not work. When I asked repeatedly for the charges, he did not responded. After reaching the destination, I gave him Rs 100/- for which he returned back Rs 50/-. He charged me Rs 50/- for the fare that could have cost me Rs 30-35/- only. I asked him for at least Rs 60/-in return against the actual that could be nearly somewhere Rs 65- 70/-. He said me that he doesn't have any change and started an ran away. If concerned officials are take notice of general public plight then please take the action against this auto owner. He will keep making fools to public in day light.
