I registered in Naukri and Monster in 2nd week of September and got a call fro Careermont representative Mr. Rahul asking me whether I am looking for job change. I asked I have not registered with them but he said once a job seeker posts his profile it is visible to all and then he mentioned vacancies of big IT companies and other corporates. I was interested and he said that I have to register paying Rs.5000/- and he transferred to some Mr. Viswanathan, who with his kind words and compelling logic eventually forced me to pay Rs.57,750 on 15th Sep-17. Whenever I asked why so much money is needed he kept on telling he had to keep his inside network working and they have jobs which are not published. Their approach was never transparent e.g. out of Rs. 57,750, they collected Rs.43,250 under the head of "Career Adviser (Senior) + For 60 days". Against all payments they let me sign a one-sided contract, which was different from what Mr. Viswanathan committed to me verbally. He repeatedly said - " You are looking for a sure-shot opportunity and within 10 days you will see the results". The 43K was taken from me to assure my joining after 2 months' notice period though it was billed under different heading. All payments were colected through PayUMoney and their representative also warned me if they will accept or reject the payment and I could do that if I am not assured of any job. Mr Viswanathan called me again on 19th Sep and said that the job is confirmed(he gave me a reference no.) and I will be contacted by the company very shortly. He again squeezed Rs.44,600 and Rs.36,100, i.e. Rs.80,700 in total (again under different head). He called me again on 20th and 21st where he gave a lot of gyan about how much effort they had to put to find a job in Sr. Category and I was very much sure that he is about to squeeze more money, when I said upfront that I don't have anything to pay now, in fact I was anxious to pay back by credit card bills. As a not one Mr.Jiten always came into line to validate the transactions, once I was irritated but I was told not to discuss my dissatisfaction with him.
After that he lost interest in me. Please suggest how can I get my money back?
