SHAHA Finlease Pvt Ltd. - Credit card account closure

Hi,
I had a Standard Chartered credit card in number 4129-0370-8411-7035. The outstanding balance of the card was trasnferred to SHAHA Finlease Pvt Ltd by Standard Chartered in 2010. SHAHA Finlease Pvt Ltd issued me account closure offer in which they mentioned that on payment of Rs 31834.50 they will close my account and provide me a no dues certificate and update cibil accordingly. Accordingly I paid that amount and even got the confirmation from the Customer service of SHAHA Finlease Pvt Ltd. They confirmed that they have started the account closure procedure and send me the no dues certificate as well. Since then I am not receiving any communication from them and no replies to my queries. All the communication has been through mail and I also have their account closure offer letter in their letter head. Please advise my next step.

I am also facing the same issue with shaha finlease. They called 2 month back and send the legal demant notice. Till now i dont have any single account/credit card with scb. Which they issued in my mail(letter) my name, previous company experience in that mentioned company all are wrong.Even the mail id which they sent the letter is not registered one for bank transaction.

I like to make confirm that whether this shaha finlease is the authorized agent for stanchart bank or not; secondly, how they are getting all these details including latest mob.No etc for the customers. If its a fraud co help me and my friends. also I doesn't have any a/c or any dealing with stanchart bank then why they r keep on calling and disturbing pl. advise.

I HAVE RECEIVED A PRE- LITIGATION LETTER REQUESTING ME TO BE PRESENT AT THE ADDITIONAL METROPOLITAN MAGISTRATE COURT, BORIVALI COURT, BORIVALI WEST , MUMBAI IN A LITIGATION CASE REGARDING STANDARD CHARTERED BANK CREDIT CARD WHICH IS HANDLED BY M/S SHAHA FINALEASE PVT LTD ( NBFC ). HOWEVER, I WOULD LIKE TO STATE THAT THE INFORMATION FURNISHED BY THE BANK TO THE RECOVERY FIRM, IN THIS CASE M/S SHAHA FINLEASE PVT LTD ( NBFC ) ARE TOTALLY INCORRECT BECAUSE I HAD NO OUT STANDING DUES WHAT SO EVER WITH STANDARD CHARTERED BANK. NOW THE RECOVERY FIRM WANTS ME TO SHELL OUT RS ONE LAKH FORTY THOUSAND FOR A SETTLEMENT.

Shaha Finlease does not come under RBI NBFC rule. You can complain to the local police if they try to harrse you much.

At the same time we must take in notice that we are in trouble and our personal data got shared with a malicious company because of Standard Charted Bank. So we must advise our friends and groups by being vocal about the Standard Charted bank act. During selling card they use lot of positive words but after selling they provide poor services and create trouble for us and our family.

ShahaFinlease is a very reputed organisation , they dont keep accounts pensding , if you have got a NDC then your account will be done. I paid my money and my account was closed in the same month.
