This is regarding PNR # 4121273768 from TPJ to BNC. I had booked 2 seats for my grandparents (age 83 and 76) using the senior citizen quota. The tickets were booked for Oct in August when there was seat availability. I was shocked when i saw that the seats alloted to us were mostly upper berths. We had to spend more than 2 hrs requesting people in the train to exchange their lower berths for an upper berth. Most people with lower berths were old or suffering from Backproblems, finally we had to place them on the far end of the coach. It was a horrible experience and i dont think they will ever want to travel by rail hereon.

Complainant's Goal: Better seat allotment for Senior Citizens

This is regarding PNR #********45 from Pune to Lucknow. I had booked 5 seats out of which 2 seats for my parents (age 75 and 70) using the senior citizen quota. The tickets were booked 4 months in advance when there was seat availability. I was shocked when i saw that the seats alloted to us were mostly upper berths.

I want know how can i get this changed as journey date s 11 th Jan 2013 and i dont want to approach people as most of them will not agree.
