India Today Book Club - NOn receipt of order booked 22 days back

On 17-JUl-10, I was approached by LIving media India today book club informing that I have won a prize of 5 lacs jewellery gift vouchers for which need to buy some products. I was then told about various products I need to buy and hence I choosed a projector and home theatre by paying 25798/- (Ord # ********9)through online credit card payment. Also I was asked to make another purchase of 5980/- (Ord # ********0) to make the entire scheme valid. I did so. post which another call came after couple of days asking me to do a requirement purchase to validate the previous purchases / scheme. I had no option to go for this as have already paid a lumpsum amount. I paid Rs.4998/- (Ord # ********5) for a requirement purchase and was told that no more purchase to be done (As per executive Abhimanyu).
To my surpirse I have received the two orders for low value (5980/- and 4998/-) but not the higher value order nor the gift vouchers for 5 lacs as promised.

On 3-Aug-10, I got another call stating that my order is under stay as I have won another prize for 1 lac and need to purchase another product for Rs.15000/-. This is shocking as I refused to take the order and the executive then said this is must to clear the previous product.
Finally with so much argument, I had even said I do not want the gift etc, let me have the product for which I have already made the payment. OR refund me the money as this was not the criteria told me. You go on adding a gift and ask me to purchase some additional product which I am not in fav of / not required.

The executive (did not disclose his name) ensured me of calling in next 10 minutes and confirming about the delivery of the product I have already paid for. But till date neither the phone call came nor the product.

I support this complaint.
Absolutely no proper attempt to resolve the issue. Post the last comment posted by me, I got a call couple of days back, approaching from Dispatch dept and asked me to do a txn for rs.7000/-+ to which I denied. When inquired about my product delivery, was told that would be dispatched next day. But no reason why the same is not yet dispatched.
Again yesterday I had received a call from supposed to be from dispatch dept asking me to do a txn for Rs.14000/- + and again I denied.
I am not sure why so many calls for making txn for different amt wherein my old product is yet to be dispatched. Every caller would state the same thing that the order is getting dispatched next day.. but when the next day...
I thought of putting all the conversion in this format.
Day by day I am lossing my confident and faith on this great India Today Book Club through which I have recd a lot of orders... except for the said instant.
Even after so many calls coming / reminders from myside, I am getting any solid reason / resolution to the case.
Hope someone is looking into the customer harrasment.

There was no revert to my complaints and reminders. The only reply i got twice (through mail) was the same has been forwarded to the related dept and I would be getting the product sortly. However, in the mean time though couple of calls came from Indiatoday online, but no mention / help / reply to my complaints in specific.
I do not know why it is taking such a long time when I have paid for something but not received the goods???

Today after the comment posted for the case remained unresolved. I have got a call from India Today Book Club (011-30818200). to my surprise I was asked whether I hv received my order to which I have already complained for. Once I have denied I was asked that need to do one more billing for Rs.7000/-+ for creating the dispatch ID etc... I have clearly denied as previously I was told to do a billing of Rs.15000/-+ which is now reduced.
I am not sure what is the system and how come once promised that there would not be any further billing I have been continuously asked for additional billing.
Now I am fed up with the process of increasing the billing amount / number of billing for getting one order.

I sincerely request you all to look into the matter urgently and dispatch my Oder consignment I have already paid for one month back.

Let me know the progres on the same and status of my consignment under the order as complained.
