INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB REFERENCE NO. ITBC09843967
NON RECEIPT OF REEBOK SHOES, TRACKSUIT, BAG AND TOWEL
I have to advise that I had received an email from India Today Book Club that they were offering Reebok Shoes, Reebok Tracksuit, bag and towel for an offer price of Rs.2,998/- + shipping charges of Rs.200/=. I had indented for the same and an amount of Rs.3,198/- was paid to them through net banking on 28.1.2009. I subsequently received the items but they were of a different size. I therefore took up the matter with India Today Book Club who advised me to return the parcel with their covering letter. I therefore returned the same on 10.2.2009 through Speed Post vide their docket no. SP EM 249293367 IN. Subsequently I have phoned them a number of times and every time they come out with a standard reply that the complaint has been forwarded to the concerned department for redressal. Even after a lapse of more than 7 months I have yet to receive the items I had ordered for. I have spent lot of money in pursuing the matter on phone but have realised that it is of no use. I have therefore written two registered A.D. letters on 22.06.2009 and 15.07.2009 addressed to The Manager, Customer Relations and Mr. Nitin Sawhney, Business Head, India Today Book Club but so far have not received any reply thereto.
Please therefore look into the matter and advise them to send me the items viz, Reebok Shoes of size 9 and tracksuit of large size alongwith the bag and towel. In case they are not able to send the same, kindly instruct them to return my amount of Rs.3.198/- paid to them.
I would also request you to caution the people at large not the be taken in by such fraudulent companies and that law should be enacted so that such companies do not fleece the unsuspecting customers.

ITBC | Fraudsters and Cheats | Proposal for a Class Action Suit
Hi,
I am Sujata Garimella.
Like you, I too trusted the India Today name and had ordered stuff from ITBC. My experience was awful. I did not get what I ordered for. I did not get the promised "extras". And I did not get any solution either.
This whole nightmare started in September 2009 for me.
To top it all they still keep calling me.
I plan to sue them for Rs. 10 lakhs. I have started an action against them and would like more victims of ITBC's dirty tricks to join in because there is a lot of strength in numbers.

Like you and me there are lakhs of other victims of ITBC's malpractices. There is a link in the web page above that will take you to a list of the sites on which people have complained. I request you to take the time and send at least 50 of them this mail and ask them to send it forward.
That way we can reach the maximum number of people in the shortest period of time and quickly initiate legal proceedings.
I hope we have 10,000 people and then, if not getting the money we can at least ensure that the company closes down.

I have ordered a Reebok shoes Set on 12-1-2010 of this year with my order no Order ID 880050408 .
The payment has been done online through my credit card but still now I have not recieved any mail nor the material.
I hape you will solve my case positivly and at the earliest
