Subject: Grievance for HARD CLUTCH problem..

Respected Sir,

I have purchased Mahindra LOGAN DLX BS3 2WD Vehicle from Jitendra Automobile Nasik, on 12/01/2011. In which I found HARD FUNCTIONING OF CLUTCH. After finding the problem I approached to Jitendra motors Service station, where your service team Mr. Joshi Rahul, Mr. Prashant Nade, Mr. Baviskar treated us well to understand the problem. They tried their best to solve the problem (regards for them). Problem resolved 20% . I am not satisfied with CLUTCH FUNCTION after car worth of Rs 6.5 lack which moves me to grievance. I would like to state my observation/request.

1. Hard functioning of clutch is manufacturing defect.

2. Your team first tried to convince me by giving excuses & twice they changed the clutch cable, which has reduced the problem by 20%, but not up to the mark.

3. Due to hard function of clutch I am undergoing severe knee pains, which is unbearable to me since I have undergone By-pass surgery three times.

4. At the time of vehicle finalization during test drive I pointed out this problem, but I have been diverted by giving excuses of rough usage of demo vehicle. In very next visit I have been shown the new vehicle & assured by sales person that after regular use of car clutch will work properly. I explained the fact about my heart disease & purpose of changing the vehicle which I used for last 12 years (Maruti van) to your sales executive. When the problem was known for your team about hard clutch functioning of this particular model, I am surprised nobody explained me about the new launched BS 4 variant. Now after complaining the sales people are replying about their unawareness about BS4 variant. I really don't understand the reason behind this, whether they wanted to paste the balanced vehicle to me or what?

5. I recommended Logan to one of my closed relative Mr. Hrishikesh Walekar, an officer of M/s Rushabh Instrument Satpur Nasik mob 0********98 even he had received the quote for BS3 Variant. Finally by looking at our problem he preferred booking Ford Figo Platinum Diesel. Since he was also not suggested /explained/quoted BS4model.

6. Due to my heart problem I took decision to go for comfort & choose Logan. I am working with Government Undertaking organization with 6000 employees. Any point of time1500 cars are parked at our premise where only 2 cars contributes by Logan, among them one is mine.

7. My wife and daughter have refused to drive due to HARD CLUCTH.

Now I want either to exchange my car with new BS4 ( hydraulic clutch ) variant with reasonable compensation or proper solution on this. I have used the car for 2500 kms & deadly feeling the pains.
I request you to please look into the matter to solve the problem at earliest. Anticipating your quick reply.
