IRCTC Indian Railways - Booking tatkal ticket by irctc not possible on opening day between 8am to 9am (ID # 1284)

Based on past two years of booking online tickets through Indian Railways online booking system by its website irctc, I have observed that between 8 am to 9am, availability of website is almost rare. Even if one logs in successfully then it will be Impossible for him to book the ticket. But as soon as time passes beyond 9 am, picture becomes different, one can easily book the ticket. I\'m not supporting this complaint.bcoz u ppl don\'t know how to book tatkal tickets,there is a tricks to make payment within 8:00:10hrs,Everyday I booked tatkal tickets and the printed time in tickets is 8:00:25hrs to 8:00:35hrs.I\'m an agent of IRCTC over 4yrs,so I experiment with it\'s server.For making payment at 8:00:00hrs there is a unique tips observed by me...but I won\'t tell u bcoz it\'s my own observation.Thank U

I support this complaint. I had to book 3 tickets, and I had 4 ppl with 4 different computer working with different ids, and still it didn\'t work. whoever was successful in loggin in, the website kept saying even at 08:23 that tatkal is only allowed after 08:00hrs. The server was so slow that it didn\'t let some of us to log in. It is impossible for a simple citizen to get tatkla ticket. Govt. should understand that Rs.200-300 worth a lot for some middle class people. which majority of India belongs to and who travels through trains too.
I support this complaint. First time in my life i went to agent paid Rs.100 per person extra for 3 tickets and got it done.

I support this complaint. Dear Mr. Biswas - Respect your view as its your bread n butter. But a Common man is not booking tickets everyday and you are not travelling every day (Still you buy no of tickets and we are not able to buy a single confirmed ticket). Thats the difference.
Booking a Tatkal Ticket - Is there any ROCKET SCIENCE which railway authority has prepared to keep away the common man?...As per your views I think YES.
I tried hard to get the tatkal ticket (Betn 8.00 to 8.20 am) consecutively two days by changing my travel plan. But ended up with WL/85 tickets.
My suggestion to railway is that
PLEASE STOP ONLINE BOOKING FOR THE TATKAL TICKETS – WE, THE COMMON PEOPLE, WILL BUY IT FROM THE WINDOW @ RAILWAY STATION – THEN WE WILL SEE HOW THE TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT IN 2 -3 MINs.
