IRCTC Indian Railways - Booking tatkal ticket by irctc not possible on opening day between 8am to 9am (ID # 1284)

Based on past two years of booking online tickets through Indian Railways online booking system by its website irctc, I have observed that between 8 am to 9am, availability of website is almost rare. Even if one logs in successfully then it will be Impossible for him to book the ticket. But as soon as time passes beyond 9 am, picture becomes different, one can easily book the ticket. I agree with this complaint and this is every where not just limited to one city. Here in Mumbai, there are many brokers/agents who do the same thing in booking the tickets online but they get thru easily. Something is terribly wrong. It is high time that senior railways official to look into it and whatever nexus is out there between IRCTC (Railway) and agents should be cleared out.

I support this complaint. I would request (rather suggest) that IRCTC either learn to run the online ticketing system professionaly with proper knowledge and infrastrucure or better shut down.

I support this complaint.but agar railway counter par agnet 500 ki ticket ka 1500 mangta hai to uspar kya action hai. ticket babu hame ticket wiating deta hai par dlalo ko confirm deta hai uspar kuya action hai. yeh agent ko 9 baje tak late karke irctc ne dalalo ka kam bada diya hai, AM ADMI LINE ME KHADA RAHTA HAI TO BHI TIKET NAHI MILTA HAI
