Vodafone Mumbai - BILLED FOR NON USUAGE OF NO: AND INTERNET ACTIVATED WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

MY VODAFONE NO: IS NOT IN USE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF MAY 2014 AS I HAD TAKEN AN AIRTEL PREPAID TO COMPARE USAGE COSTS. SINCE THEN I HAVE PAID AN OUTSTANDING OF

1. BILL RECEIVED FOR MAY 2014 RS. 596.56 DUE ON 06/05/2014...... & .......PAID RS.600.00 ON 12/05/14.

2. PREVIOUS BALANCE RS.1201.66 PAID RS.1200.00 IN JUNE 14.

3. THEN PAID ANOTHER RS.1000.00 ON 13/06/14.

TOTAL PAYING A BILL OF RS.2800.00 SO THAT ALL DUES ARE SETTLED ONCE AND FOR ALL. I RETAINED THE NO: BUT HAVE NOT BEEN USING IT SINCE EXCEPT WHEN I NEEDED TO CALL VODAFONE FOR SOME CLARIFICATIONS OR INQUIRIES. NOW I AM SLAPPED WITH A BILL OF RS.1400 + AND WHEN I COUNTER CHECKED WITH 198 AS DIRECTED BY THE LADY EXECUTIVE. I AM TOLD THAT THIS BILL IS FOR USAGE FROM 18TH MAY TO JUNE 3RD OF 2014 AS INTERNET HAS BEEN ACTIVATED. NOW, I HAVE NEVER ASKED FOR AN ACTIVATION AS I HAVE AN MTNL INTERNET CONNECTION AT HOME AND AIRTEL 3G PREPAID ALREADY IN USE. YES! I DID ENQUIRE FOR AN UNLIMITED INTERNET PLAN AND THEY HAVE SEND ME AN SMS WITH COST ON 17-06-2014 AT3.23PM. BUT I HAVE NOT ASKED FOR ITS ACTIVATION SINCE I ALREADY HAVE MTNL AT HOME AND AIRTEL PREPAID 3G ON MY MOBILE SO, WHY WOULD I ASK FOR ACTIVATION. FURTHER MORE, I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND VODAFONE THAT I HAVE HAD ON A NUMBER OF OCCASIONS FACED WITH EXORBITANT BILLING AND HAD TO TAKE UP THE ISSUE WITH YOUR SANTA CRUZ BRANCH. IT IS THEREFORE PATHETIC TO NOTE THAT IN YOUR ENTHUSIASM TO SERVE CUSTOMERS YOUR EXECUTIVES TAKE IT FOR GRANTED AND ACTIVATES ANY PLAN BASED ON A MERE INQUIRY. I HAVE ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED DETAILS BY WAY OF MSG AND WILL GO TO ANY LENGTH TO PROVE THAT YOUR ARE OUT TO FLEAS CUSTOMERS ON SOME PRETEXT OR THE OTHER.

Requested to block the no. ********05. However even after blocking we received a bill of 1009. The reason for blocking was due to the phone being stolen. The number was misused during the period it was stolen. So we basically paid for the amount even though we didn't use it. We request you to adjust the amount for next month's bill . We payed the amount to use the no. Again.
Please do the necessary action against tthis matter as ssoon as possible.

Please note that from february 2014 to April 2014 the internet is free but from may onwards they charge me internet charges very high without intimation to me. My mobile bill is very high due to this error and simultaneously i paid the bills also.

So it is my kind request to you adjust my excess amount which i paid towards internet charges from may onwards in my next bill payment.
