To inform with deep regrate that IRCTC Tatkal online (e-ticket) reservation process is of no use with session getting drop or unavailable during initial hours of it\'s opening period.
Virtually every time you try to book in the morning at 8:00AM, session will either drop almost instantaneously, with \"service unavailable\" error, failing to load entire page, intermittent disconnect etc. Surprisingly access to all sites other than the irct works okay during initial period of Tatkal e-ticket reservation.
More to the surprise, suddenly after couple of hours of opening duration, everything start working fine only to know that all tickets have beeen waitlisted by that time. Since this is not one time or isolated incidents but being a daily affair, I feel that there is some kind of nexus to prevent people from their rights of equality.
Request to address asap in order to restore faith in the services
sir today i have booked ticket in tatkal at hyd from annavaram to secunderabad. but no pnr no displayed and my a/c with sbi debited. so far i my a/c not credited.kindly look into it

i done a reservation of 5 people about return trip from Kalyan (KYN) to Jalgaon (JL) & the date are 17.2.11 & 21.2.11 respectively .
Rs. 865. is for kalyan to Jalgaon &
Rs. 915. is for Jalgaon to Kalyan .
Even the both trip km & train name are same but then to i supose to pay extra money for return ticket .

dear sir,
I was booked a ticket though irctc in the tata to durg on date 04-01-2011.his amount is Rs-720. I have play though ATM Dedit card but 720 Rs are deduct two time in my account Transaction ID (02********) and Transaction ID (02********) one ticket i was cancelled a same date his refund amount 620 not credit in my account
This online tatkal booking is just for sake of availability... noone can use it actually ... Always "Service Unavailable" ... or "Image won't Load" or if we want to change Date Calender won't open .. but they will keep that as non editable field ?? and also if we wnat to check availability we can't check that also before booking .................. even if you filled all the details .. ready for booking that buttons won't be there in next page ...............................
It's too horrible and too hectic to book one ticket on tatkal since more than 30 minutes after that it will show all in waiting list ............
Indian railways earlier told like they are going to change IRCTC .. but never changed ..
they may got some commission so .. Govt. won't bother about public peoples .. so these IRCTC peoples are blocking all tickets and enjoying ......................................
They got service from Govt.. so they always displays us as a message "Service Unavailable"

Just Booked tatkal ticket :):):). Booking is off from 8:00am to 8:20am. Its works perfectly after then.

Please reagain start the IRCTC book ticket from 8a.m.Because i can not book the tatkal ticket. All tatkal ticket ending 8am to 9am.
