I have a xperia Z3 which is only four months old. Sony claims it to be water resistant but every time i try to take under water photo it gives me one or the other problem. Even with all the lids closed.
First it was screen , which was repaired by sony service center , And now the mother board is gone, And sony is asking me to pay 30000 Rs to fix it. The phone is under warranty. And all the lids were closed while taking underwater photos. And it was only 20 centimeters deep in water for about 5 minutes. And the damp sheet is neither red nor pink(its bit yellow since the purchase day). So if water went inside the phone its not from the lids. That makes it a manufacturer defect . Still sony is asking me to pay for the repair. Why should i Pay for manufacturer defect. I had written mail to them. Its been 37 days, still no proper response from them. So i took my phone back. They even charged me for testing the phone. And they haven't even placed the battery properly after testing, you could literally here the click it makes when you shake the phone. Is this the treatment given to flagship phone by sony??
