I bought a Sony Vaio (VPCEB 16FG) laptop from E-Zone Bangalore on 5th April 2010. For the initial few months there was no issue with the laptop. But last month my laptop stopped working. It was not even powering on. I went to the service center at 100 feet road, Bangalore, where they corrected my laptop within three days saying that they have reset the CMOS. Ever-since I brought my laptop from the service station, it created problems one after the other. The system went out to be too slow, sometimes it was hanging. During startup it use to take it directly to the Vaio Recovery. During the Recovery process it showed Disk Error. I went back to the service center again. They kept the laptop for another three days, and called me stating that the Hardisk and keyboard have been replaced, and now the system is working fine. This was done only last week. i.e on 18th Sept. 2010.
Yesterday again my system got stuck during startup. It went to the Repair mode where I again reinstalled the OS to a previously set state. The system worked fine for few hrs. But today again it got stuck during startup. Now I am able to browse using the WEB option only. I can't login to my system.
Its a pathetic laptop provided from Sony. Even I can rely on the service center now, as those guys don't seem to have quality service.
I made a big mistake purchasing Sony Vaio Laptop and won't recommend anyone. Its a total waste of money.
The laptop seems to have bad quality hardware . Service center is not atall reliable.
Not at all value for money.
Please return my money or replace the laptop instead of keep on changing the parts. Cause last week only your engineers have changed the hard disk and the keyboard.
Now there can be only two cases, either the hardware which is provided is of worst quality, or the engineers are not able to detect the problem.
