Samsung India - Service and behavior of Sunil Bansal

I call myself a die hard fan of Samsung. For the last 15 years, I have been only purchasing Samsung products for the products have been incredible in service except for the one I'm not happy about. My Mobile Number is ********78, providing the contact number for Samsung to validate my details.

I own 2 A/c, Refridgerator, LCD,LED, Mobile and washing Machine.... all manufactured by Samsung.

In 2012, I experienced technical problem on my A/C 1 Ton ( Purchased in 2008).The technician confimed that the condensor cooling coil need to be replaced, for which I paid INR 5000 plus to get it replaced. The Customer service team was contacted, complaint was routed to the authorised service center -Comfort cooling(Mr Gupta) . After less than 2 years, I experienced a similar problem and now the authorised service center Sai electronics-HYD stated that the Condensor coil need to be replaced which would cost around INR 6500.

I reached out to constomer care to check if the issue to can be handled in a better way as I was not okay spending INR 6500 every 2 years especially when Samsung is replacing the defective product through its service center.I was expecting to be treated well in a way of offering a discount or taking responsibility for the faulty Condensor which did not last for more than 2 years ( effectively 6 months as A/C for domestic use is only used in Summer).

I spoke to a so called Customer Satisfaction Deptarment Sr Executive - Mr Sunil Bansal. He was ruthlessly rude and these are few of his verbiages.
- You are expecting too much ( He needs to understand, a request is placed as the product developed issues in less than 2 years)
- You need to pay a price for the choice of life style choose ( if we don't choose this life style, there would be no jobs for these guys)
- Sunil Bansal is the management, you cannot speak to anyone else ( When asked if I could speak to the higher authorities)
Lastly....funny one

- The best I can do is get the condensor replaced, WITH 100% chargable basis for product and service.

This man either is insane or drunk. He made me feel awful. Unfortunately, there are no records maintained on all the products I bought and took services from Samsung. The man denies that there was no repair done as there are no records. The person is not fit to be in CS department in one of the largest Consumer Appliances company in the world. He is not even fit to be in CS department in any Industry. Pathetic behavior, no empathy and above all rude.

I would also like to mention that Sai electronics folks (Raju and Nikhil) were customer friendly. Subha from CS also was curt. but the man Sunil Bansal....was terrible.

My love for Samsung will continue. As a well wisher of Samsung, I request the authories to train your folks on Customer Centricity.
