Hi,
On August 28th 2013, I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy SII Plus (I9105) smartphone for my fiancé. It's been 9 months only since she is using this phone, and now we have started facing battery back up issues. Now, I understand that due to excessive gaming, excessive video play, batteries do drain out. But she uses it only for basic uses like Whatsapp, Gmail, SMS, Calls and sometime web browsing. This is normally a very basic use for a smart phone which costs INR 24,000. We have rarely played any games on this phone. Now, when I contacted Samsung Customer Support, I was informed that the battery is not functioning properly and I have to purchase a new Battery. Now, I want to know why should I do that? It's been only 9 months and the phone has so much of problem, so I believe Samsung should have courtesy to change the battery themselves rather that asking me to pay for it. I also checked only regarding problems and I must say I have heard many complaints about Samsung Galaxy S II plus battery issue. I myself use a Galaxy S III and it's working perfectly fine. Now, this is not at all good service, how can you make such pathetic product and then also charge a premium on it.
I hope Samsung can look into this matter and do the needful, else I am surely going to complain again and will also suggest my peers to no to go for any Samsung product ever.
Thanks,
Pradeep Singh
