Sub: Complaint about SamSung F/Free Refrigerator, Model no. RT292BPR1/X2
Sl. No. 048242AS800360W purchased on 19.9.09 vide Cash memo No7434 at the cost of Rs.18800.00
Dear Sirs,
This is to bring to your notice that the above refrigerator was found defective within a week. Its cool pack would not remain in the slot and would fall off. The matter was reported to you, and as a latter enquiry made by me in your shop showed, was registered in your complaint book. In fact two days after the complaint a mechanic came and inspected the refrigerator and told me that a part would have to be replaced. He assured that he would come back with the part.
When he did not turn up in about 15 days I made a visit to your shop in an afternoon and when I spoke to the young man, I was directed to, he was rather abusive and refused an answer to the query and blamed me for not noting the mobile number of the mechanic. I left the sop. I was very busy with other things in hand and could not pursue the matter at that time. I am now sending this letter under speed post so that I have a proof of this formal complaint. I am informing you that if the refrigerator is not repaired in 15 days time from today and an apology tendered for the delay in attending to the complaint, I shall be forced to seek legal redress for compensations including harassment.
Yours sincerely,
(A. K .Baruah)
