I had purchased a sony laptop model no-svf14212snw in5 on 7/7/13 from jumbo electronics corp. pvt. ltd. s-105 &106, 2 floor, V3s east center, laxmi nagar, and on 15/08/13 the laptop did not switch on, the very next day i went to Service center of sony india pvt. ltd located at. No. 1, dayanand Vihar, vikas marg Extn. Delhi, to get the same checked and was asked to surrender the laptop for repair. Upon initial verification they investigated and checked my laptop and informed me that the said laptop is completely dead and i need to keep the laptop with service center for further check up.
After 1 week when they did not respond to my calls i visited the service center again to get any update . II was informed by concerned persons at service center that the mother-board of laptop has got crashed and right now they did not have the required spare parts available in stock. I was informed to wait for another week for confirmation on spare parts delivery. since then it has been 2 more weeks and I am now exhausted following up with service center. Irony is that they even do not pick up the call on the given contact numbers and every alternate day i have to personally visit the service center to remind them that my laptop is pending with them. Every time i visit i am told to wait for coming wednesday and i will get an update, which till now never happened. With this kind of service and attitude, i am completely dejected and it has impacted my work for which i had done the purchase. I want the complete replacement or pay back amount in full.
I am following up on my complaint no-15369296 which i have lodged with sonyindia.care@ap.sony.com email from last 2 weeks and till now i never even received an acknowledgement of said complaint.
Kindly respond to this as i am fedup with this service and purchase i had done with sony.
