IRCTC Indian Railways - IRCTC Tatkal Reservation (ID # 1464)

To inform with deep regrate that IRCTC Tatkal online (e-ticket) reservation process is of no use with session getting drop or unavailable during initial hours of it\'s opening period. Virtually every time you try to book in the morning at 8:00AM, session will either drop almost instantaneously, with \"service unavailable\" error, failing to load entire page, intermittent disconnect etc. Surprisingly access to all sites other than the irct works okay during initial period of Tatkal e-ticket reservation. IRCTC TATKAL BOOKING SYSTEM IS A PATHETIC NEWS TO ANY COMMON INTERNET USER. EVEN THOUGH YOU LOG IN AT 7 O CLOCK AM. EVERYTHING GOES FINE TILL 7.55AM. ALL OK AND FINE.
BUT THEN SUDDENLY BETWEEN 7.56 TO AROUND 8.10 THERE IS SOME KIND OF ABDUCTION OF THE SITE. AND AFTER A FEW MINUTES.ALL THE TICKETS GETS NOT ONLY SOLD BUT GET WAITING LISTED IN MULTIPLE DIGITS.
VERY SORRY TO SAY THAT THE IRCTC TATKAL BOOKING SYSTEM IS NOT FOR THE COMMON MAN. ITS FOR SOME ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAVE NET SPEED MAYBE ABOVE 15MBPS AND THE STAFFS OF THE SITE.
VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Hi, Maine 05.12.2010 ko IRCTC se apna 03 tickets book kiya tha, thatha use 06.12.2010 ko canclle kar liya magar aaj 09.12.2010 tak bhi mera paisa wapas nahi aaya.

if the service is down during critical times.. money is debited but the ticket is not booked..

They should not open the tatkal at 8.00 am for all.
There should be slots allocated based on trains.
Ex: some group of trains at 11.00 AM

indian railways is least cared about it.

I think IRCTC playing the game with internet user for online tatkal service, if we didnt get tatkal ticket online then no used of online reservation, even no use of IRCTC if you are not going to make customer satisfication with your service,

I support this complaint.

The service unavailable message appears for couple of minutes , by the time I managed to log in all the seats had already gone by then. This is not normal, I am very sure there is a nexus .

Every citizen is denied equal right to book a ticket.

Pondering over taking IRCTC to consumer forum for denying equal right to everyone.

I support this complaint. I faced the similar problem today. I could open the site only at 9:00 to find tickets in waiting list.
IRCTC must find a solution to this. When it is known, that at 8:00 AM, the tatkal booking starts and the site will be busy, to cater this demand, IRCTC should use some latest technologies like cloud to overcome this.

irctc site never starts at 08:00 am it gives service unavailable (that mean iis service is stopped) and every day they start service only after 08:45 am, this is daily issue faced by internet users

Please solve the problem as common man has full right to get the ticket. We hav to approach broker & hav to pay 1000Rs extra per person.....PLEASE SOLVE THE PROBLEM

Hi . I am a Software Engineer.But in my entire life of online experience I have never seen such a scrap product with so many flaw.Such a slow service ,always creates a false transaction which gets deducted from your account.I dont know why this site is slow?Never had such a bad experience using any site like this.

This is inform you that your website for online booking goes down at 8AM to 9AM, due to this a person (without agent) can't book e-tickets in Tatkal as well as normal e-tickets during this period. I won't say more about this disappointing services but i humbly requesting to you that if IRCTC is not able to improve the speed of railway booking site (www.irctc.co.in) during specified period then just stop the 'TATKAL' booking online so that no one can wait for online Tatkal booking.

Secondly,

IRCTC know very well that railway online booking site crashes at 8AM to 9AM even after that there is a 'Verification Code' required to proceed and most of time shown 'Verification Code' not accepted by system and error shows 'Verification Code' does not match.

I & everyone know that IRCTC can't improve the speed of website during 8AM to 9AM. So I requesting to you that at least just remove 'Verification Code' from system during 'TATKAL' booking at 8AM to 9AM.

I support this complaint.i have bookedthe ticket for thedate of 24/05/2010 and the three passengers was ourney evrey tickets are waiting list andthe last time of chart prepared two ticket ok and the one in cancelled i have apply TDR file since 14/06/2010 but my payment not refund the PNR NO.IS 2106592535
AND THE 2ND COMPLAINTIS plzzz tell me how many percentage for ticket brokrage for irctc agent and sir i am from reasi distt and u have to given the licences the name is reori sir plzzz correct this name
