IRCTC Indian Railways - IRCTC Tatkal Reservation (ID # 1464)

To inform with deep regrate that IRCTC Tatkal online (e-ticket) reservation process is of no use with session getting drop or unavailable during initial hours of it\'s opening period. Virtually every time you try to book in the morning at 8:00AM, session will either drop almost instantaneously, with \"service unavailable\" error, failing to load entire page, intermittent disconnect etc. Surprisingly access to all sites other than the irct works okay during initial period of Tatkal e-ticket reservation. This has reference to my several email,to via customer care regarding not restoration of your site till date where as I am the bonafide and legal agent of via including the of irctc being my registration no. FRAN 1531811 in the name of M/s.Shivam Tour & Travels Kolkata.In this regards I would to bring to your kind notice that on contact to via I have been told that a sum of rupees 20,000/- is required for further restoration of site on queries in our localities it has been understand that those who are having the same agency are not being disconnected or neither they have been given the revise amount as ask for.You may please be appreciateted that due non availibity of the site I am facing lot of inconvenience and loss of financial aspect.In view of the above you are requested to kindly intervein so that I may get the irctc site as early as possible.Hope you kindly do the needful.

This is really frustrating either you should vanish the on line booking or please do something the that "Service Unavailable" error that usually comes while booking tickets at 8:00 AM.

Dear Sir,

It is very painful complaint to you that in the timing of tatkal tickets booking website of irct.co.in runs very slow most of it shows that service unavailable after than when it gets login it shows only and only loading loading loading, our indian rail website is very worse and many times it reaches to the payment gateway option and from their it stops suddenly so can you all please tell us that what to do?? If at the speed of broadband it stops like that so it is very shame full condition so I would like to request you all that please do something in this matter if it is needful make another websites also.

I have booked ticket by irctc. for dt 19/11/11.pnr no.2656349910 sarnath express Ballia to Allahabad. Later cancelled due to train was late for more then 5 hours. my tdr has been rejected reason being travel position could not be autenticated. I couldnot know?hou irresponsible answers are given.

this is neerajfrom noida.I am doing E-TICKET from bhabua road to new delhi for 6-mov-2011.My tranction has been done and ticket charges RS=333/- deducted from my ICICI bank account.But no ticket or any PNR details is generated due to your site p .roblem. I always facing problem when i go to book any tatkal ticket 8 am ticket booking starting time i cant understand why i facing this problem mostly this period.when finish all tatkal booking then after normally working this site.i want to request our railway minister plz try to solve this problem otherwise stop this facilities.

I BOOKED A TICKET FROM AJMER TO AHMEDABAD WITH TATKAL SCHEM . THE AVAILABILITY WAS SHOWN AS 3 WHILE BOOKING BUT WHEN I PAID THE MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT I FOUND STATUS TO BE CKW/L 66.I THINK THIS THE HEELISH TRICK OF MAKING PEOPLE FOOL.
IN ADDITION TO THIS THE SITE OPENS AT ONLY 8:15 AM & BY THE TIME most of AVAILABILITIES REACHES WL

Indian Railways are earning more from brokers rather than from normal public..thats why they are supporting these brokers who are hacking all the IP addresses of IRCTC for tatkal quota booking......these kind of activities should be immediately banned..and tatkal reservation should only be allowed at windows and personal ID card should also be checked before making ticket....or else the IP addresses should be increased and tatkal quota should also be increased....Shame on our govt..they know that people are complaining..still they are not doign anything..

Give contract to some good IT company, for renovation of online services,who are expert in maintaining large databases and concurrent services and have reputation of delivering satisfying results for large volumes of load/requests.

Clearly, current system is not capable of handling large volume of requests and is non reliable. People are devoid of making simple reservation for their travel arrangements. Transportation services are mess. What are we taxpayers paying for, can't govt. come up with solutions to the problems or are they not willing at all.

Technology, talent, service providers are all in place in India but still solution in place is mediocre and incompetent to needs.

Year is 2011. still same problems with online booking...unavailable when required.
Tatkal quota should be increased.
Are we going to 2020 with same infrastructure and services..... they are already outdated by 10 years...how can these serve 10 years and on ahead.
