This regarding the handset which I purchased recently sonly xperia sola . It hardly worked for 2 to 3 weeks then after it started giving me the problem with operating the touch screen unlocking the handset even receiving the call totally icons and the other parts become unresponse.Finally I have visited nearest sony service centre for handest verification on oct 16 2012 . They have informed that mobile is having problem with some touch panel and they will replace the part with in one two or maximum by thrid week
but still so far I am only following up with customer case and service center for status of my deivce, fone day back when I went service centre for enquiry they said my mobile is in chennai head office for verification , when I asked customer care on status of the mobile it has come back to bangalore with out being repaired or changing the part ??????.
Why the hnadset it self is roaming from bangalore to chennai and then chennai to banaglore instead of ordering for part and repalcing the part itself.
Also customer care representitves are provioding false commitmnet reagrding the delivering the handset . Now after these many days I feel that my handset evrn after replacing the part will operate as normal , as I have read so many issues regading touch screen for the perticuler sola model ,
now what guarranty that sony will give that after replacing the touch screen the mobile will work as normal
why some one have to wait so many days to replace a part for the device , if it is then case why dont sony will provide us a a back up mobile for till we recieve the handset (since we have already paid the amount for the mobile and why should we pay for another handest for using ).
The quality of product they offered to me and also manner in which they have behaved with the consumer is not at all acceptable .Not to mention about the bad servicing of sony service centre .
Even I called 2 days before to customer care for the handset status , ininitially in the converstaion they said it will ready by 2 days of time , later thier executive told it may take atleast 7 days or 10 days more . I am totlly frustrated that why DID I purchased sony handest and I realy regretting myself very badly .
Today again I called customer care back for asking the status of the handset , they almost took 40 min to
say that my device will be delivered to me on next wednesday , but they have given 100% commitment that the handset will be given back tommorow. Customer representative again told the part was pending for the handset . But I dont understand last saturday the part which was delivered to the service centre hwere it went .
Any how I have not accepted there offer to wait on till next wednesday for recieving the handset , I declined saying you can keep my handset as I am not required my handset as I was too frustrated and fed up badly .Also I know it also a lie and false commitemnet given to me by the SONY company
Pleas do refer to the converstaion between me and many SONY customer care executives for the reference.
Kindly notice the ony by how they have given me the wrong commitment and even cut the call while I am still online
