Samsung India - Hanging problem with my samsung grand i9082

I have bought a Samsung galaxy grand duos i9082(IMEI No. 35********78775) on 10th June 2013 from Reliance Digital Retail Limited,229 NSC Bose Road,Kolkata .Within the period of 5 months i had to visit the service center 4 times for various problem and today i will be visiting the service center for the 5th time.The various problems that i have faced with this set during the period are as follows:
1.Phone was restarting automatically inspite of being fully charged.
2.There was an issue with the sensor because of which i was not able to disconnect my call after finishing my call.
3.I was not able to make calls.
4.System was hanging frequently and there was screen blackout/freezing of screen.After sometime when the screen starts responding the system becomes extremely slow.
The last of the above problem was set to be resolved and the set was returned back to me on 9th Nov 13 but after getting the set back and loading my regular apps etc the same problem of hanging continued because of which i will be visiting the service center again today.
Under the above circumstances i strongly feel the set that has been sold to me is defective and not worth using because it has become more of an inconvenience to me commuting to the service center frequently and it is practically of no use to me.I would like to get the money refunded immediately so that i can buy a set which can be of use to me.Alternatively i should be provided with a set which gives problem free performance and the warranty period of the set should be counted from the day the new set is handed over to me.During the last visit to the service center at metro station esplanade kolkata i was told to do factory reset and load only facebook and watsapp application and check if the hanging problem shows up.I did exactly as they told but inspite of this the screen froze which i have recorded on video and i showed the service center people this video during my visit today but they are insisting that i should stay in the service center for 5-6 hours and show them this problem when it occurs.They are even claiming that the earlier problems for which i have gone to the service center and submitted the phone thrice were non existing.Though they they had seen the problems for themselves and returned the phone to me after rectifying those problems .They are simply trying to brushing aside the problems and putting the blame on the sim,net pack and apps. It is evident from their approach that they simply want to harass and mislead the consumer till the warranty period is over after which they will charge for every service they provide.Under these circumstances i claim immediate replacement with a problem free set and also warranty for the new set from the date it is handed over to me.I got a call from Samsung customer care yesterday followed by another call from samsung technical dept.The technical dept blatantly declared that there was no hanging problem with the set and therefore no replacement can be provided.What i would like to bring to the notice of all concern is that the frequency of hanging can’t be predicted and because the phone starts responding after sometime it is not possible to carry the handset to the service center and show it to them when hanging occurs.The most i could do was make a video clipping of the screen when the hanging problem occurred and showed it to the service center people which i have done.But i have been told by the service center people that i have to show them the phone when the hanging problem is on otherwise they will not be able to help me.Under the circumstances i have no other option but to seek redressal from consumer court and pray for all those people who dare to purchase samsung handsets as samsung clearly doesn’t believe their customers one bit even when the complaint is supported by a video clip of the dynamic situation of hanging.The customers are left to the mercy of few service centers who are overloaded with complaints and have no time to look into the complaint and prefer to dodge them.All will agree that a customer doesn’t have so much time that he/she will go to the service center with a complaint when there is none.I appeal to all customers to join hands and teach Samsung a lesson so that they do not take customers for granted.While on the subject i would like to mention that i have seen innumerable complaints regarding hanging of samsung handsets on the website which itself is proof enough that this problem exists in samsung handset which they have not been able to resolve and have been taking the customers for ride.iam confident the consumer court will take note of this and will come to rescue to all the dismayed consumers like me.Reliance digital Retail limited complain no.********,Samsung Reference no. ********85 dated 21/11/13.

Dear sir/madam,

I purchased 1 samsung smartphone worth rs 20500 and from the day one mobile started hanging horribly, automatic phone off and so many other issues. I visited Samsung service centre more than 10 times within 15 days of its purchase and they were unable to resolve. Later I didn't have any other option but to throw that phone in their office and by doing so I lost rs20,500.

Samsung is biggest cheater mobile company.
