I bought a 32" Bravia LCD TV (KLV325550A) in 2009 Nov for Rs 37000/-. After using only for 1.5 years the picture started moving up and down. I complained at the Sony customer care and an Engineer was alloted. He said the LCD panel gets defective and needs to be replaced costing around Rs 11000/-.
Buying a TV for 37,000 and then within 1.5 years spending another Rs 11,000 didn't seem to be intelligent.
Apart from this a bought a DVD Home theater also with this. within 2 years the DVD player also got defective. Now thay are lying on the walls dead.
This is not the only case with me..My cousin brother also bough a sound system of Sony which got defective soon.
My question what Sony has to say to this? What accountability has Sony rearding this? What Sony has got to defend its brand value?
