A Samsung fridge 190 Kg model No RA19ZBUX1/XTL was purchased from M/S. Mohindera T V Centre, Khanna, Pincode-141401 vide cash memo no. 5599 dated 08 Jun’ 09. That due to internal short circuiting, the fridge got burnt on 04 Nov’09. A complaint was duly lodged with them and the Company. The fridge was inspected by their so called expert engineers. The fridge was taken away by the Co. saying that it needs further proper inspection. Samsung/Ludhiana was kind enough in replying on 30 Nov’09 that “fire was caused due to some external sourceâ€
The matter was actively taken up by e-mails and at the phone numbers given to me by Samsung/Ldh.
During the course of discussions on 08 02 10 : 03 43 pm , with their executive Mr. Himesh and again on 15 02 10 with Mr. Gaurav, I was given to understand that the matter was finalized and that the machine will be replaced soon. But it was quite shocking to me as there was no sign of the fridge(even that of the defective one) though it is already the start of July.
But the BIG SHOCK was yet to come when as a follow up my attorney dialed up to Mr. Deepak talked to us. Who told us “It is a burn case. No replacement is dueâ€.
Now it leaves me with only one point unanswered by any stretch of imagination i.e. why and how they have taken the fridge from me and have retained and detained it with them so far, if they were not to repair it and or replace it. ? It is already about 20 months since the accident occurred.
Kindly intervene and impart me the wanted justice.
