This is basically related to mis-commitment and careless behavior shown by Reliance customer care representatives, they are least bothered even after sending them repetitive email notification and calls, they do not take matter seriously and dont care respond. I would rate them pathetic.
Actually I had ordered netconnect device online with selective plan, I also did payment that time itself, they promised deliver it within 2 hours, after doing numorous follow ups with different representatives I received the device after 15 days, and now its more then 6 days the device is not yet been activated, they actually promised to activate it the very next day after I received the device.
The details story and evidence emails can be found here:
http://www.consumerforums.in/no-refund-no-correct-communication-from-reliance-for-device-delivery
http://www.consumercourt.in/broadband/112189-complaint-against-reliance-netconnect.html
I am really hoping some action is taken against them for these careless nature and wasting so much of customer time and giving mental stress.
Here I am again putting the update so far, I was busy these days with my work so even did not get proper time to follow reliance guys.. Hopefully my company owner does not look at this thread else he would think I am being paid by reliance too for dedicating my time to them.

There is yet no resolution to my issue, now I have got some time from my busy schedule so writing this email to let you know the details as of now, also I would be grateful if you read the whole email and reply to concern issues without just copy pasting your standard reply:
As expected your representative called me on 4th day i.e. as per your email below it should have been resolved within 3days from the request been logged and you technical representative called me on 3rd Sep 4.00-30PM
So as per me it calls out be as 4 days. There can be 2 reasons behind this either your technical department is overloaded with request issues (that is bad impression too) or its your habit to call on very last moment when the given SLA is going to end (that is even more bad).
I re-scheduled the call during 9.00PM as the problem was at my home, and as per commitment that guy called me during 9.00PM, I dont blame the guy he was really good at this work and was trying to evaluate each and every possible reason by dictating me on call, however me being a technical guy was pretty sure clearing the cache etc wont help. And reinstalling the software toh never help as it was just 1 week the datacard was activated and tested at their reliance world.
However after sufficient efforts the problem was unresolved. Also doubting the hardware would have been incorrect because same thing on same laptop was working good at your web-world office, we were getting 0.08Mbps speed at my home as compared to 0.8Mbps (better but not good) at your office.
So at last he said that he will escalate it with another technical team and I would receive a call within 24 hours..
The very next day 4th sep I did receive call from some reliance guy no02030346017) and mentioned about me facing problem, but he just took my reliance data card number and asked how old the connection is nothing else, and as of now nothing has been done.
On Wednesday 5th Sep Mitesh from Reliance called me showing concern about the raised request, he said the current status of the request is showing that I need to reinstall the software, that I dont know how it ended up there as no such suggestion was told to me, anyways but reinstalling would also not matter as per me. He said that he will call me back after discussing with the technical guy by late afternoon, till now I have not yet received any communication..
It will be 1 month tomorrow since I ordered the reliance datacard, and till now experience is very bad.. dont know what made me take that decision to buy reliance product which I am repenting now..
I have no choice left as I have already made the payment, so its my job to waste my time and send emails and take follow ups from you.. Disgusting and Frustrating..
Your disgruntled customer,
Pravin

Did not here back form you..
Anyways, being a technical guy figured out the problem my self and somehow was able to start the netconnect device... by comparing the installed binaries with actual binaries present in the installer. Not sure why the reliance Web World guy pointed me out to the reason of barred due to document, and firstly from where did that reason came in your system.. Something is really messed up with you guys.
However I am going to raise the speed issue once I test it again at home. If you promise 3.1 Mbps I am atleast expecting to get 2.0Mbps, because the representative who sold the device said if you face coverage problem they will fit a booster that will amplify signal to increase its strength.

The PC cannot be problematic because, the device worked for 3-4 hours on the day I activated it from reliance web.
here is the history screen shot, I even tried installing and verifying it on my friends PC but the result is same no coverage.
I visited web world again wherein he said the documents are barred but the status is showing active..
I am clueless what the heck is going on.. please help.

Haven't yet received any communication from your side, Mitesh was suppose to call yesterday..
Anyways, being a technical guy figured out the problem my self and somehow was able to start the netconnect device. The DLL was quarantined by AV.
Lets see what more is kept in my plate in near future.. I am not going to close this thread unless I am satisfied and you tell me the action taken which I had asked in my previous post, if your time is precious then so is mine!
RComCare/Mitesh,
I re-visited your Reliance Web World situated in Aundh, where I met Amit as per him the device is showing active status in your system..
When I asked him to double check, he said that the OPS status is showing as - Barring for document.
He said that please provide your document once again to the representative who sold you the device..
Now tell me what to do? If you say I can apply for leave in my office so that we can trace the problem with different peoples and with laid back attitude..
I mean that is what I am doing since I have opted and buyed this device online from reliance..
Also I am worried about the speed as stated in earlier post.. because even if we activate the very next problem would be of speed.
The biggest mistake ever I made is by paying 3 months bill in advance.
RCOMCare/Nilam,
I received call from Mitesh next day i.e. Sat 25th saying that the device is now activated and I can use it now, however they Mitesh and Technical Support guy on call were not able to activate the connection or start the internet usage, so they suggested me to visit nearest Reliance Web.
I did Visit the Reliance Web in Pimpri. FYI Mitesh, the representative lady said there was no such email received from your side to handle my complaint in top priority, even after telling as you suggested that I was directed by Maharashtra head.
Anyways that apart, One of the customer in queue was able to help me in configuring the settings with 3-4 easy steps and damn it worked just like that, I was bit surprised because he hardly new anything about gadgets etc in detail. And thought how it was not possible for your technical guy on call to solve this easy problem.
I checked the speed by downloading and testing it on speedtest.net.in and speedtest.net it gave me result of 0.9-1.0Mbps at reliance world web center.
I was happy and everything is working fine, but I was soon turn down to see that the speed at my home was as less as 0.04-0.06Mbps.. and the next day device again stopped working.
i.e. I am facing the same problem that we saw during initial configuration for activation on call with your technical guy on saturday. I am attaching few snaps for your reference.
I may going to visit the web-world on my way home, better they solve it else next time it would be your technical guy coming at my residence and solving it, I am not going to travel anywhere. I will be launching different complaint for it tomorrow. As I will be emailing your customer service today, sorry I dont have time to sit idle and call your representatives.
The most important point to discuss:
- I want to know what action was taken against the representatives involved so far, I mean Connect India + Local (and email) Appellate Authority for not responding promptly? I know you said that it was escalated but how would I come to know?
- Also you should mention your SLA somewhere so that the customer has idea how long he should wait.
Hope the activation and speed problem gets resolved soon, else will be meeting here soon..
ThankS for your till now support
I am so much dissapointed and frustrated that even if someone asks me about any product of reliance, I would surely suggest them not to buy.. even if the product would be nice the customer service is pathetic.
I am no ways going to activate this service and suffer later, better let me know what action is taken against the representatives and get my money refunded
