On dt. 19 Sep, 2011, I purchased a Reliance Netconnect+ Modem For Rs. 2500/-. With this they had offered me one .in domain name and a hosting plan. At the time of purchase, when I enquired about the offer, They replied me that I Will be receiving the coupon through email. It is already past more than 2 months, yet I havn't received. But again the worst part is that when I tried to contact the customer care in this regard, Every time They gave me the same Reply,like, I Will be receiving the coupon within 7 days in my inbox. & I heard such reply not once,twice or thrice but whooping 7-8 times! Yes, even escalated the issue to nodal officer named MS.PREETI CHHABRIA (Rcomnodalofficer.MH@relianceada.com) with much expectations but in vain!
But one more setback! I had purchased the modem with paying advance rental of 3 months for rs. 2500/- on 19 Sep, 2011(5GB highspeed+unlimited at 144Kbps(Around Rs.827/month)). So, what does it mean? That on 18 Dec, 2011 My plan would be lapsing. But this company wants me to pay needlessly upto 5 Jan, 2012 because they can't deactivate my service on 18 Dec,2011. That clearly means that, I need to pay anyhow extra 18 days money without any additional benefits! This is ridiculous! That sum counts to be extra Rs.496.20/- . And this extra money they are charging for what I am already paid for in advance! This is clear case of forgery! I need opinion for Legal terms! Thank you!
