One year back we found out that the washing machine was leaking and filed a complaint when the AMC was on the verge of expiring. Technician arrived and asked us to renew the AMC and after which they said there is a problem with the tub, for now fill the tub fully and then switch the machine on , and i will get back to you after we get the tub as it was not available with them. None came for a year. On June 6 i Found that our machine was not working and filed a complaint in the IFB customer care toll free number. Following which a technician came to check and informed that the TUB was faulty and also told that my AMC has expired and asked me to extend it by paying 4806 the very same day inspite of knowing that my AMC expired few days back i.e., 4 june and told me that he(Mr.Joe) would talk and extend my AMC for 2 yrs and promised me that my machine will be fixed within a week. The same day a check was issued and the person collected it. The check was not deposited for more than a month, So i called up to know the reason, they claimed that the AMC amount changed from 4806 to 5046 and asked us to give a fresh check for that amount. The following day the person came to collect the check which was on JULY 31 and the check was deposited on AUGUST 1st! We expected the person to come and fix the machine within a week , they dint. Finally during the 1st week of SEPTEMBER i called again to know what the hell was happening they told me that my complaint was CANCELLED, with no priors. And gave me no reasons when i asked for a reason and Gave me the number of Ms.Suganya(Nanganallur Franchise) who was in a franchise that took care of complaints from my area. I called her and she told me a NEW RULE that i CANNOT file complaints until 45 days get completed since my AMC was renewed. Why was i given a FALSE promise that my problem'll be fixed within a week when i paid for renewal. Ms.Suganya then asked me to file a fresh complaint(9532180) and i did the same and again was assured that my problem will be solved in a WEEK. The next week i called the IFB call center again and was made to speak with TEAM LEADER SARO who made me talk with the Franchise Incharge and BOTH OF THEM promised that by next week my problem will be resolved failing which they PROMISED me that my AMC AMOUNT will be PAID BACK. From september 2nd week till today (12/10/12) I have been running from pillars to posts and each time i call either the call is being ignored by the FRANCHISE people or a NEW person talks to me each day and each day i got a new reason for my problem not being resolved. In between which i made a million calls to the FRANCHISE. Today(12/10/12) once again i called and Came to know that my complaint was CANCELLED same as before WITH NO REASONS. For the past 4 months we are washing clothes with our hands.
THE WORST AFTER SALE SERVICES ARE OFFERED BY IFB.
I want my money back and compensation for making me run like a dog behind them.
