MTNL Delhi - MTNL| Applied for new connection 3 weeks back.

I applied for a MTNL Broadband in Chattarpur on 1st of January 2014-01-09



On 4th Jan 2014 I visited the SDO office of chattarpur and requested them to process my broadband request but the line man at chattarpur first tried to convince me that there is no line in my area and then when I insisted there is one he refused point blank that it will be at least another 2-3 days.



Today is 17th Jan and I contacted the SDO of chattarpur who gave the number of the line man who refused to even install the landline. It has been 17 days now and not even the landline is installed. And I know this all can be done in 1-2 days. In Dwarka I got the MTNL broadband within 2 days from applying.



I know this is very common at MTNL but I know some people at MTNL do their job very sincerely and I am writing in hope that maybe if someone at MTNL cares they should speak to the staff in chattarpur SDO office and especially the line man and prevent these guys from ruining the name of MTNL. Their attitude is very third class, this is plain harassment when if they want they can install new connections earlier.



I will definitely write back the day I get my broadband working, I know 9 days might even be a lesser period but hoping I get my broadband working soon without any more delay at harassment.
