Dear Sir,

I am Md.Fayaz, I was staying in a PG (Shiva sai reddy's PG for Gents #298/10, 32nd Main, B.T.M Bust stand nearest AXA building, BTM 1st Stage, bangalore 560 068 Mob: 98864 92409).

One day (13-jul-2013 evening around 6:30 PM) my PG owner introduced a person and said, "he is a new roommate, name Abhinav and going to stay from today in your room", for which I said Ok. And the immediate next day (14-jul-2013) I went out side with my relative who came to bangalore for couple of days to attend his interview around 1:15 PM to the nearest masjid (madiwala opp. to police station) for after noon prayer and by the time I returned to PG around 3:00 PM burglary took place in my room even though I securely locked my belongings in the locker provided by PG owners and I lost my valuable items listed as follows,
1) Acer aspire 4710z laptop + Sennheiser head set (35000 + 2700)
2) Canon 1100D DSLR (18-55mm IS + 55-250mm IS lens) + camera bag (39000)
3) Sea gate USB 3.0 1TB External hard disk and SanDisk Ultra SDHC 16GB 30MB/S class 10 memory card + 4 GB transcend pen drive + Tata docomo 3g e-stick data card (number - ********23) (9000)
4) 1 back pack + camera bag + luggage bag contains (pepe jeans (1 rain coat + 5 shirts) + janemaaz (mat used to do namaaz)) (9100)
5) Hard cash Rs. 4000 (I supposed to pay the PG on the same day)

Total 37700 + 39000 + 9000 + 9100 + 4000 = 98800

Immediately I called to PG owners and asked to provide the new persons contact details such as phone number or address proof then PG owners said, "I am not holding any of the details of that person and loss of belongings is not PG owners responsible, sorry" and he turned back.

I dialed 100 and explain the situation. They replied they will send a cop and one of the constables came to the incident place (Constable Number - ********03) and asked PG owners and me to come madiwala police station. We both went and I filed complaint but initially cops refused to take action against PG owners and asked to compromise, for that my PG owners said, "we have a used laptop with us, we will give that much only for the bad happened to you". I got shocked for their response and I didn’t accepted then PG owners started threaten me by saying, "A year and half ago a person died in my PG and that death suppose to create a murder case on me but I escaped using my influence and
converted it as a normal death. And you are lucky, only your luggage got theft nothing harm happened to you". Since that was the evening time and I was fasting in this month of Ramadan and after discussing with PG owners and about two and half hours I lost my patience and that was the time for me to break my fast I took the complaint back.

But, I was not satisfied and I didn't sleep the whole night for someone's(PG owners) mistake and also I feel insecure also I lost my peace, so I decided to complaint and to proceed legally and stepped into Madiwala police station again and lodged complaint (1278/13). It’s been ten days finished but yet I didn't have any information regarding the bad incident, either recovery of my items nor action against PG owners to avoid such bad to some others.

What was the mistake I did sir, locking securely my luggage in the locker provided by PG owners..?? Or going to mid-day prayer by leaving my room locked..??

It's not only the first time such incident took place in that PG and nearest PG's but still these PG owners are running their business. Sir you are the last hope and the person in front of whom I can cry. Please do justice and take necessary action for PG owners mistake and get my things back, however I can't get the data that contains in the electronic device if format it already.
