Dear ma\'m, sir,
I had my e-ticket reservation by Kaifiyat Express scheduled for 11.04.2010 from Lucknow to delhi vide PNR2533658730 in Sleeper Class Berth No: 70 in S-7 compartment.
Before starting from the residence in Lucknow, as usual I checked the timings, if the train is running on time.
I was told by the recorded message announcer the train is late and will arrive at LKO at 23:50 Hrs. Accordingly I reached at 23:30 Hrs. to find to my horror that the train has already left. One can understand the agony of a private Professional who had many important meetings lined up in Delhi next day.
Pl let me know who is at fault and where and how to get the refund. Just to inform, there were many like me running around helplessly at Lucknow Jn. To stop furthe loss, I had to board the Vaishali Express, ready to leave soon. Not to mention one had to buy a fresh ticket which is never an easy task. Hence there was no time to surrender the copy of the ticket with the Station Master etc.

Complainant's Goal: An honest apoligy with promise not to be repeated and a proper refund of course
